Amazing!!! Can't believe it took me so long to visit. Plus it's much closer than the counterpart. Workers are friendly. Food was always stocked and hot! Hash was a little runny but flavor was on point. Bbq meat was fabulous. Fried chicken was fresh. They even have banana pudding for dessert. Can't wait to go back.

First time here and I will definitely be back. All the food I tried on the buffet was delicious. I didn't try the fried chicken because I was too full! Buffet is a little more limited than some other places but it had enough variety to please almost anyone. I loved the hush puppies with a touch of sweetness. I also appreciated they had fried pork skins.

When old-timers pointing to family in the pictures on the walls, USC students, families, and couples can all agree on something, you have to know this is really special. My family was completely over the top with how great everything tasted and how well it was prepared. Really nice folks, too. Thanks from Philadelphia!

I'm from Texas, we consider Palmetto 'a hole in the wall ' That's nearly always a good thing in my eyes. It's definitely a good thing with Palmetto! I googled good BBQ and then I googled BBQ reviews by locals. I chose Palmetto & I'm so glad I did! I loved everything except the fried chicken. I didn't get any because I couldn't fit it on my plate . It's priced conservatively. Sweet tea is great. I didn't know exactly how to use the sauce (what kind to use?) I've only ever had red. I liked the yellow! It's not better than Texas BBQ it's just that they are different. Both are good if you get the right cook . We don't do hash in Texas so I'd never eaten it before. It's wonderful! Palmettos banana pudding is the best ever... Not real sweet, creamy & not too heavy. Texas needs to get your recipe! I hope one day I make it back there. God bless!

This a great buffet if you want some good southern food. It’s a small buffet with a couple of choices like fried chicken, pulled pork, Mac and Chesse, coleslaw and banana pudding. The price is good it was 16 per person included a drink. The fried chicken was my favorite all the sides were incredible. But for me the Mac and Chesse was my top pick for that sides. The dinning area was clean. I will be coming back when I’m craving some good southern food.

This is a buffet style bbq joint in downtown Cola. The food was great. I really loved their hash. The Mac and cheese was really good too. BBQ was good and so were the rest of the fixings. It wasn’t too busy when I went so I could enjoy conversation with my friend. I would definitely eat here again.

Good food and sides. Sauces are great. Maybe the best banana pudding I’ve ever had

We stopped into the Palmetto Pig on our day in Columbia. The restaurant is right down town. It is a buffet. All the food we ate was delicious. There was fried chicken and pulled pork for the meats. They had green beans, Mac n cheese, potato salad, Cole slaw, and baked beans. The hush puppies were amazing.
